Omegay: Akhirnya Mansorr akui kutuk guan siyal eng kaw2! >XD

PENANG Deputy Chief Minister (I) Datuk Mansor Othman yesterday admitted that he had called his boss, Lim Guan Eng, a cocky and arrogant person, and also likened him as a tokong (deity) in a meeting with local Chinese leaders in March.

The state Parti Keadilan Rakyat chairman, however, insists he had been taken out of context, saying that he had only labelled the chief minister such after he was led on by questions thrown by several members in the meeting.

The issue was first brought to attention in June after incriminating bits of what had transpired in the meeting were uploaded in the blog "Gelagat Anwar", sparking debates and causing uneasiness among Pakatan Rakyat leaders.

Mansor had allegedly labelled Lim as cocky, arrogant and a tokong during the closed-door meeting.

The issue simmered after a series of denials but resurfaced after an alleged audio recording of the meeting was aired by a television station on Monday night.

On Aug 24, Mansor said he meant Lim was a revered figure in Penang when he uttered the words tokong but that words like "cocky" and "arrogant" were taken out of context.

Two days ago, TV3 aired part of the recording revealing those exact words spoken during its news hour, further incriminating Mansor.

Recalling what had happened, Mansor said: "It was an internal meeting arranged by a group of PKR leaders to discuss the general elections. I now remember there were leading questions that made me answer that way.

Mansor was certain that there are people after his position and this was an attempt by these quarters out to get him.

I placed my trust in this group of people who asked for a meeting with me. I trusted them when we had our di! scussion . I didnt expect them to do this to me, he told The Malay Mail.

Upset that the minutes of the meeting had been leaked out, Mansor said the party was close to nabbing the culprit and disciplinary action would be taken against him.

"This is a serious matter, said the 59-year-old, adding that he was ready to move on from this issue because it was part of politics.

Asked why he mentioned unpleasant things about Lim, Mansor said he did not mean to be disrespectful.

It was a typical conversation where you have regarding your bosses sometimes. You dont mean it to sound bad.

Lim, Mansor and the Penang Pakatan Rakyat government had been under attack by Barisan Nasional politicians and pro-establishment bloggers ever since the issue was first highlighted, claiming that there was serious rift in the state leadership.

Political observers noted that Mansor himself had been keeping a low profile since then.

PKR grassroots members, however, are blaming Mansors current predicament to factions within the party itself.

A party insider said the meeting talking points were leaked as a ploy to bring Mansor down by creating a rift with fellow PR parties.

The source added that Mansor should also "wake up" and be more alert of the attempts to topple him.

He should know this and not make silly moves that can jeopardise his position. This is not the first time he has made such mistakes, said the source. - MM
